Of course we bloody well should! It’s unfortunate what happens to these people in their country, but why should we be the ones to help all of these immigrants out when we can’t even help our own fellow countrymen? There are thousands of people homeless and thousands more unemployed but yet these immigrants have a higher priority to our Government than these people. If we were to jump in a boat and try to escape to their country without their Government’s permission, we would be shot on arrival. And we, as taxpayers are expected to pay for them from our hard-earned salaries. I would prefer to burn my money than to give it to these immigrants. I may sound heartless and cruel, but these people couldn’t give a stuff about us, as long as they can queue jump their way through the system and not have to go back to their country again. Here’s a thought, when a boat full of illegal immigrants arrive in our waters, the Government should turn the boats around and send them back home, and if they try to argue or jump ship, shot them.
