Prematrital sex has become an expected and widely accepted practice world wide, it is not just being tolerated but is actually being encouraged, gone are the days when being a virgin was considered commonplace, we are now living in a time when being a virgin could cause you to be ridiculed and labeled a misfit. Premarital sex is the cause many problems in society today; teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases are just a few of the issues that will be discussed in this essay.

More and more we find that people are having sex so often with so many different people that it has totally lost its true purpose. Sex should be something shared between two married adults that are permanently joined together by marriage. Sex has many repercussions one of which is pregnancy. Most pregnancies that occur outside of wedlock are unwanted. and couples end up with unwant There are 12 million new cases of STDs annually in the United States and 67% of these occur among persons under the age of 25.
