THE BIRDS

The Birds was a great movie. It was also a

great story. There were a lot of differences

between the movie and the story. The characters

were different. The setting was completely

different.

In the story the main characters name was Nat.

In the movie the main character’s name was Mitch.

In the movie there is a mom, dad, and two kids. In

the movie there was a grandma, a girlfriend, and a

sister. There are some of the same things in them.

But, not as lot is the same. Some of the same

things are both is about the town getting attacked

by birds. But that is about the only thing that is

the same! The rest of the movie and story are

pretty much different. One part that is different

is in the part where it involves children.

In the movie they get attacked while they are

in school. In the story they don’t get attacked

until they get off the school bus and are on their

way home. The setting is different. In the story it

is snowing. In the movie it is nice and warm. It

was in San Francisco in the movie.

So it was warm. In the story they had a fire

lit because it was so cold. In the story it was

really cold and the bus was a long way away from

the house and so Nat had to walk to the bus stop so

he could pick up his daughter. But because it was

so cold and the sea gulls were circling he had to

have a friend take his daughter the rest of the way

home. In the movie Mitch and his girlfriend went to

pick up his little sister and they had to find a

car to get in so that they wouldn’t get eaten by

the birds.

In the movie Mitch had a mother involved in the

plot. In the story Nat had no mother. Instead he

had a family. In the movie the birds never went

into their house exactly. In the story the birds

went into their house and attacked their little

boy.
