If you want to make a lot of money and have fun doing it, then becoming a bartender would be a good choice. The only thing you really need to do to become one, is go to a vocational school. Even then, that can t set you back too far. You would only have to take a couple of classes, then you re in. Finding a job would be pretty easy. Every place that has a bar is always looking for more help.

The working conditions of a bartender vary. You could work in a smoky dark place, or you can work in a new kind of club serving drinks. It all depends on where you go and look for work. Your salary also varies by where you go. If you go and work in the smoky place you won t make that much. If you go to the newer club, however, you could pull in $230-$400 a week.

No matter where you go you will have specific jobs to perform. You will have to everything from lift kegs to stop fights if they occur. You would also have to mix and serve drinks to people, know when a person should be cut off, check ID s, clean tables that are empty, and you would also have to associate with the customers.

The opportunities in this career also vary. If you choose to work in the smoky place you re opportunities would be less than if you chose the newer club. You can also bartend anywhere. Almost every place in the world has a bar. Therefore, almost every place in the world needs someone to tend the bar. It could very well be you.
