While they are preparing individual tasks, the class is going to listen to three short stories about films and try to guess what films are they. I like this film. It is shown every New Year in Russia. It is about a half real situation, which happens because new houses and new furniture were much alike all over the country. And because thre was a funny tradition in a male company to see the New Year in by going to terms, and somebody had to fly to another city, but everyone is sure it is not he. The film is full of music and songs. And it is full of humour. The film teaches you to love and to keep friendship. It is not stuffed with special effects or fights, but it keeps you in suspense. The film was shot by Eldar Riasanov. “Ironiya sudbi”Many boys and girls liked this film because it is an adventure film. The events happen on the sea in the 18thcenture. This film is full of special effects. There are supernatural events. There are a lot of fights on the ship. They keep you in suspense and they make you laugh at the same time. There is a love story in it. The film is the third remake. It was shot in Hollywood. Johnnie Dieppe and Kira Nightly are starring. “Pirates of Caribbean Sea”This film will be shot in Australia. It will be about an English lady who inherited a rancho larger than the state of Maryland. The events take place during the World War II. The lady is going to take a lot of her cattle to a far estate. To save her property, she will unite efforts with the cattle breeder Tom. Both will spend a lot of time horse riding. Nicole Kidman and Hew Jackman Starring will be starring. Two years ago the film was been started to shoot, but due to arguments between N.Kidman and Russel Crow it was stopped. Crow left the project. Soon the shooting will restart. - Can you guess the film? Did you pay attention that the film hasn`t been shot, and you coudn`t see it yet? It`s only the project. The fact is that Nicole Kidman will be starring. And we`ll be speaking of her at our lesson today.- But now we are going to listen to Luda. What are your favourite genres and why? - I like adventure films because they are full of romantic events thy keep you in suspense and make you follow the characters. They teach you courage and friendship. They are informative. I like musical films because they are full of music, singing and dancing. Popular performers take part in them. They make you see such films many times.- Now it`s your turn, Yulia. - I like historical films They tell about real historic events. The costumes are so beautiful, films are made by popular actors and directors. But I don`t like actions because they are full of fights and supernatural events. They are scaring and teach violence.You have learned about American Rating system, which helps to regulate the audience of the picture. The main character is the man, a son of a Roman and a British woman. His name is Arthur. He and his knights try to save their people of blood-thirsty Saxons. I think the film belongs to the category PG, because some material can be unsuitable for children. There are some scenes of violence, there may be unrespectful scenes.Pupil II.The 12year-old Richie is the richest kid in the world. He will heir $12 billion. But the fact doesn`t spoil Richie, just because his father is so kind and fair. But their manager is going to kill all the family by putting a bomb in their private plane, when the family is going to visit the British Queen for a tea party. I think the film belongs to the G-category, because it doesn`t contain anything in theme, language, nudity or sex, which would be offensive for parents whose younger children see the film. Some words may be not polite. The violence is at a minimum.Pupil III. It`s about the film with Leonardo di Caprio Catch me if you can. Her father, a scientist in biochemistry, was carrying out scientific experiments on the territory of USA, so the family has spent a few years in Washington after their daughter`s birth.
