Abraham Lincoln is an American hero. A lot of important events occurred that changed America forever. Three of them are giving the Gettysberg address, ending slavery, and becoming assassinated.
The first circumstance that I informed about is giving the Gettysberg address. This occurred on November 19, 1863. It assured that the government of the people, by the people, and for the people will not perish from this earth.
The next affair that I told about is him ending slavery. He believed that if everyone was equal slaves should be too. After the long awaited victory over the confederate side, Lincoln said that he would free the slaves which he did soon after.
The third occurrence that I talked about is Lincoln s assassination. He was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. It was at Ford s theater, April 14, 1865. Booth shot Lincoln in the head and then jumped onto the stage. Booth was later shot and killed by police.
In conclusion Abraham Lincoln had a Tremendous impact on the USA because of what he did. I think the most important things are the Gettysberg address, ending slavery, and his assassination. Therefore I believe he had a tremendous impact on the USA Due to these three things and a lot more.
