Why I Am Interested Essay Research Paper

I am interested in the Upward Bound Regional Mathematics and Science program because of the courses that will be provided. By attending the program I will get the opportunity to share experience with other students. The program will help me to prepared for college and help me to learn different kinds of teaching styles than I would have learned in high school.

Education is the key to success in life. I want to be successful person. This program will help me to achieve my long-term goals by strengthen my academic skills and exposing me to the college environment. The program will help me to gain insights into a variety of careers and different subjects.

I am from a third world country, where education leaves much to be desired. I want to go to college and study engineering. This program will prepare me for my dream to come true. Since I came to the United States I was introduced to the use of computers. This program will help me to improve my computer skills and knowledge. The atmosphere of the program will give me a better understanding of what college will be like.

As a result, I think that this program will assist me to adjust to college when I meet other students in social settings. This I have not done enough at the high school level will prepare me for attending social events. I will not embarrass or scared when I go to social functions in college. I feel that this will at least expose me to the basic skills, which are required in life in general. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the program.
