He embodies the ideals of truth, justice and the American way. As for foreign policy, Superman has traveled the world, been to many far-off lands and met many interesting people. These are the qualities that make Superman a marvelous candidate for president.

As the well-known saying goes, Superman is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. As president, Superman would use his magnificent powers in the best interest of national security. He could single-handedly destroy battalions of enemy troops without even breaking a sweat. With this power guarding our nation, every American citizen would rest easier knowing that the nation would be safe. As an added bonus, the trillions of dollars spent each year on defense could be applied to other pursuits, such as erasing the national debt or enhancing the space program.

Superman has an undisputed record of honesty and integrity. Anytime his hometown of Metropolis was in danger, Superman would appear and save the day. He has shown through his various heroic acts of saving earth and putting criminals in their place that his high morals and righteous ideals are never compromised. For example, when Darkseid came from the nether-realm to enslave all of the people of Earth, Superman sprung right into action because he knew it was the right thing to do. He didn t ask for money or a reward. Superman helps people for the intrinsic benefits and a man like this deserves to be in the White House.

Finally, Superman has years of experience in the foreign policy department. He has visited nations places like Brazil, Germany, Lebanon, Japan, Mexico, Italy, Argentina, Sweden, Italy and many others. He has met such heads-of-state as John F. Kennedy, Gerald Ford, Bill Clinton and others. Superman also appeared in a comic book distributed to third world nations such as Bosnia warning children of the danger of anti-personnel land mines. Traveling around the world and meeting such people give Superman the skills and experience necessary to interact with other nations as president.

Superman would excel as President of the United States due to his many talents and abilities. Our nation would be safe from the likes of super villains and real villains alike.
